The Kanpur native Vaibhav Gupta is the winner of Indian Idol 14. In addition to the trophy and cash prize, Vaibhav received a unique present. He defeated Piyush Pawar, Ananya Pal, and Subhdeep Das Choudhary, three fierce competitors, to win this season’s singing reality program finale.
Kanpur resident Vaibhav Gupta has become victorious as ‘Indian Idol 14’. Along with the winner’s trophy, he also took home a brand-new automobile and Rs 25 lakh in prize money. A prize of Rs 5 lakh was awarded to Subhdeep Das, the runner-up, and Piyush Pawar, the second runner-up. Ananya Pal, the third runner-up, also received a cheque for Rs 3 lakh as a token of appreciation.
Remarkably, in 2013, Vaibhav Gupta had already won the title of ‘Voice of Kanpur’ before to taking home the Indian Idol trophy. Vaibhav’s passion has been singing since he was little. Vaibhav’s dream has always been to become a singer, even though his family wants him to become an engineer. Vaibhav has now achieved his dream thanks to his commitment and diligence. His entry into the industry has been made possible by his victory on Indian Idol.
Vaibhav’s superb vocals consistently won over the judges. This season’s judges were Shreya Ghoshal, Kumar Sanu, and Vishal Dadlani. In the grand finale, Neha Kakkar and Sonu Nigam made surprise appearances and enthralled the audience with their amazing vocals.
